Education is the key to empowering women and girls, which helps bring about social equality. The scheme aims at making girls independent socially and also financially through education. This scheme is not only a boon for girls but also for the society as educating a girl child means educating the family. The foremost impact shown in the educational scenario as per statistics is Primary school enrollment has increased largely due to various drives held in remote areas with such efforts, Parent’s thought process had also changed. Nowadays, we can see maximum girls’ enrollments in schools even in rural areas, their participation in a large number of activities and excellent performance in all areas.
